We are seeking resumes for a Human Resources Co-Op (1 Opening) in our Wallula, WA Mill facility. Representatives will be conducting interviews at University of Idaho, University of Washington, Central Washington University, and Washington State University.


Description of role:


Under immediate supervision from HR Management, assists in specific HR activities and functions, including: employee / labor relations, legal compliance, recruiting, performance management, training, EEO / Affirmative Action efforts, and benefits administration, all in support of organizational objectives of the PCA Wallula Paper Mill.


Basic Qualifications:


Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.


Must be Junior class status at a minimum.


Must be authorized to work in the U.S.


The successful candidate must possess the following Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, grow, and play an important role as a member of the HR team.


Initiative, be a self-starter, and have the ability to work with minimum supervision.


Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and planning and organizing skills to operate in a fast-paced work environment.


Knowledge and skills in use of computer systems with specific experience in MS-Outlook, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint & MS-Word programs.


Able to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships.
